The esposa and I traveled down for three nights (Thurs at 200 a night, Fri at 250 a night, and Sat for another 0--with ten percent off all three nights for booking more than two nights) in the middle of July, 2010, and got in late Thursday to have two full beach-days. K/Cathy, the front desk clerk, was very helpful as we changed our reservations (adding Thursday), and when we checked-in and throughout the stay. Aside from the beachfront location, the staff is the best quality of this place, with the minor exception of one day's housekeeping, when we had guests for the day and needed extra towels and bathroom items (why so many hotels are cheap with these, I'll never know) and tipped five bucks a day and never got what was promised, but this was, as I say, minor and only occurred one time. The rooms are clean, kept-up nice enough, but overall, average and filled with dated amenities. Each room has the same amenities, as the place is a time-share/fractional ownership condo hotel that rents out individually owned rooms equitably. This financial arrangement will likely make updating the rooms inconvenient, which is unfortunate because that is what is most needed right now, especially at this price-point. The biggest thing you'll notice is the full-sized murphy bed, which has a comfortable mattress and, when in the up position, saves precious floor space. It's a unique decision, design-wise.
